This Privacy Policy explains what information DOMA Player may process, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
This policy is available in English and Arabic. The English text is shown below. العربية · English
DOMA Player provides media-player software, device licensing and playlist-management tools. A software purchase does not include paid TV channels, movies, series or a third-party content subscription.
1. Scope and contact
This Privacy Policy covers DOMA Player software and its website, device portal, licensing, support and related services. For privacy questions or rights requests contact support@domaplayer.com. Data processed depends on the platform and features you use.
2. Device and service information
We process the Device ID and device registration record, platform, model, app version, trial/license dates and status, and connection information such as IP address, approximate country and activity timestamps. These support device recognition, license validation, compatibility, support and abuse prevention. A Device ID may be generated or platform-derived; its exact form depends on the app version and platform. It is not a guarantee of an unchangeable hardware identifier.
3. Playlists and synchronization
When you use the portal or synchronization, we store the playlist names and connection settings you submit, including source URLs, usernames and passwords where needed. The application uses these to access your chosen sources. Sensitive connection fields are encrypted in the service database. Source operators receive network requests when their content is requested and have their own privacy practices. Removing a playlist from the active list may initially mark it as deleted; use a data-deletion request for removal of retained server data.
4. Purchases
PayPal processes checkout and card entry through its own interface. DOMA does not receive your full card number or card security code through this checkout. We store the device association, plan, amount, currency, payment status, PayPal order/capture references and, where returned, payer identifier and payment-source type. These records are needed to activate licenses, prevent duplicate activation, handle refunds, investigate disputes and meet accounting obligations.
5. Support, account and diagnostic data
If you contact us, we process your name, reply email, message and any device, country or other details you choose to provide. Partner or distributor accounts additionally require account and transaction records for their services. Error and security records may include connection details, timestamps and diagnostic events. Do not include source passwords, device keys or card details in support messages.
6. Browser storage and external services
The website uses sessions and request-security cookies. Some portal versions can remember a Device ID or preferences in your browser; clearing website data removes these local values but not server records. Payment options load PayPal when you choose to open checkout. PayPal processes browser and network information and may use its own cookies for checkout and fraud prevention. Telegram and app-store links only open when you select them. Optional app integrations, including radio directories, artwork or subtitle services where available, involve requests to the respective service.
7. Purposes and sharing
We use data to deliver requested services, administer licenses, synchronize playlists, respond to support, protect the service and meet legal obligations. Hosting and email infrastructure providers process data to provide these services; PayPal processes payments. We may disclose necessary information for lawful requests, disputes or protection of users and services. We do not sell personal data for advertising. Optional permissions or processing requiring consent must be explained at the point of use.
8. Retention and deletion
Playlist configuration is retained while needed for requested synchronization and until removed through the applicable deletion process. Support correspondence is kept to resolve the request and related follow-up. License/payment records may be retained for the active entitlement, fraud prevention, disputes and legal accounting requirements. Limited security and backup records can persist beyond removal from the active service. Retention depends on the purpose and applicable obligations; support will identify any records retained, the reason and applicable period when handling your request. We do not describe a disabled account as deleted.
9. Your choices and rights
You can edit or remove playlists through the portal, clear local browser data, and request access, correction or deletion through the Data deletion page or support@domaplayer.com. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to portability, restriction, objection, consent withdrawal and a complaint to a competent authority. We verify requests proportionately to protect other users’ data. A Device ID is useful for device requests but is not required to send a general privacy inquiry.
10. Security and international processing
We use access controls, secure website transport and encryption of sensitive stored playlist connection fields. No online system is risk-free. Our infrastructure and providers may process information outside your country, subject to applicable requirements. If you choose an HTTP media source, that source connection is not protected in the same way as HTTPS; use HTTPS sources when available.
11. Children and changes
The website purchase and partner-account flows are not directed at children. Purchases must be made by a person legally able to contract, or with appropriate guardian involvement. If a child has submitted information without appropriate authorization, contact support. Product changes may require updates to this policy; the revision date appears above.
